If you are having issues connecting to a Wifi Hotspot from a Windows 10 then please try the troubleshooting steps below:
1. Reboot your computer
2. Turn the hotspot off and back on again on your phone and change the password for the hotspot
3. If you have connected to the hotspot before try right clicking on it in Windows and forgetting it then re-connecting again
4. Check for software updates on the phone and give it a restart
5. Run Windows updates on your computer and check for any updates that need to be installed
If the issue still persists try connecting another device to the hotspot to confirm if it is an issue with the laptop or the phone. If urgent access to the internet is required it may be possible to connect to the phone via bluetooth or a USB cable temporarily.
