Myrtec’s Rob Dawson was the extremely proud recipient of the Outstanding Business Leader <20 employees at the recent 2024 Business Hunter Awards. Myrtec was a finalist in 2 other categories, Excellence in Small Business and Kristen Keegan Young Leader.
The Business Leader Award recognises a member of the Newcastle business community who has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities both in their business and the local community. This year, the award was sponsored by CPA Australia.
Rob Dawson accepted the award on stage, commenting to the crowd of 550 attendees, “I’d like to give a shout-out to my team at Myrtec who support everything that I do outside of our core business to try and build a highly engaged community here in the Hunter.
“Community is one of our core values at Myrtec. We love the Hunter business community and are immensely proud to give back to the great people here, particularly through the Newcastle Business Club, Hunter Young Professionals, CPA Australia and the Newcastle Law Society.“
Myrtec, who has been providing managed IT services to businesses in the Hunter for 15+ years recently expanded their market offering with Technology Advisory. Their Technology Advisors, including Rob Dawson himself, fill a critical gap in the IT market by providing expertise that bridges the gap between business needs and technological capabilities.
The Myrtec team continues on their winning trajectory as they have opened 2 new offices this year in Maitland and Erina while their office headquarters remains in Newcastle.
